Meet Dr. Amelia Gallitano

Dr. Amelia Gallitano is a physician, scientist, professor, and mother running for the Arizona State Senate in Legislative District 2. She helped launch the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix to train more doctors for Arizona and spent nine years treating veterans with PTSD at the Phoenix VA Medical Center. As a researcher and professor, she trained future doctors and studied mental illnesses.

Dr. Gallitano is running because Arizona families are being failed by rising healthcare costs, extreme heat, water scarcity, and a Legislature that ignores science and facts. She is committed to bringing integrity and evidence-based policy to the Senate.
